Senior Legal Counsel
We are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join the Business Legal team within Veikkaus' Legal, Compliance and Security (LCS) function. You will report to the Head of Business Legal and act as the dedicated Legal Business Partner for Fennica Gaming. Fennica Gaming is Veikkaus' fully owned subsidiary. Fennica Gaming develops and delivers gaming products and services to regulated markets across 17 countries on three continents. The company is growing fast and actively entering new markets.
As Legal Business Partner, you are the dedicated point of contact for legal matters within Fennica Gaming and the connector between the business and the wider LCS function. You have the support from highly skilled specialists in areas such as regulatory and compliance, IP, data protection, and procurement - your role is to own the relationship and the overview, and to bring in the right expertise at the right time.
Responsibilities
- Supporting Fennica Gaming's international growth is a central part of this role. New markets mean new legal questions, and you will be the one working through what is required in close collaboration with the business and internal specialists where needed.
- You will negotiate commercial contracts with international B2B customers, licensees, and technology providers, including software licensing, partnership and gaming-as-a-service agreements.
