Nordic Air Defence, headquartered in Stockholm, develops cutting-edge defensive solutions for both civilian and military applications. We combine expertise in electronics, mechanical design, embedded systems, software engineering, and AI.

In September 2024, Nordic Air Defence unveiled its first product, the Kreuger 100, a dual-use drone-interceptor platform engineered in Sweden by a diverse, international team. Our engineers and operators bring experience from leading defence, drone, and tech organisations worldwide, including Palantir, Kratos, SAAB, Anduril, and others.

Responsibilities

  • This is a full-time, on-site role in Stockholm. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, testing, and integration of electrical systems across our platforms. You will work closely with mechanical, embedded, and software engineers to help us deliver robust, scalable systems to meet the needs of Sweden, Ukraine, and other allies in the West.
  • We are looking for somebody, likely with an engineering background, who satisfies the following requirements:
  • Experience designing electrical systems for complex products or vehicles.
  • Strong understanding of PCB design, wiring harnesses, power distribution, and system integration.
  • Ability to debug, test, and validate electrical systems in both development and production environments.
  • Familiarity with sensors, communications interfaces, and embedded electronic hardware.
  • Experience producing electrical schematics, documentation, and test procedures.
  • Ability to collaborate across disciplines and work closely with both internal engineering teams and external suppliers.
  • Understanding of EMC, reliability, and design for manufacturability is a plus.
  • Comfortable working hands-on with prototypes and supporting transition from development into production.

  • You must be prepared to relocate to Stockholm permanently.
