Reporting to the SAM France Managing Director, this position is accountable to understand our market (France, Belgium, Netherlands) and identify new growth opportunities, plan and execute new client lead generation activities via several communication channels (email, social, conferences, etc.), convert leads into sales opportunities, and collaborate with KAM to nurture and expand business with existing key accounts. This position sits on the SAM France team for the consumer and sensory business and is accountable for sales revenue generated with new clients with the opportunity to earn quarterly commission based on achievement. The position may be based in Paris, Nantes, or Aix-en-Provence. New client sales Identify, target and engage new accounts across strategic sectors, including Food, Beverage, Alcohol, Health & Beauty, Pet Food, QSR, Sports equipment via social, direct email, industry conferences and other means. Re-engage lapsed clients to rebuild relationships and generate new opportunities. Leverage SAM France strategic client partnerships to create new opportunities. Conduct market monitoring to understand trends, competitive landscape, and client needs Ensure regular updates to Research Directors on prospected clients and ongoing briefs, lead internal commercial meetings with a constructive dynamic, Marketing / Seed the SAM brand In collaboration with SAM marketing build following of SAM LinkedIn page among SAM France clients and prospects. Build a robust B2B database and improve engagement through effective contact management. Create and manage an active emailing strategy with news and calls to action for current and prospective clients. Contribute to the on-going development and optimization of digital sale materials. Handles the organization of trade shows and conferences. Offers to participate in new events. Collaborate with research managers to ensure a high-quality proposal is delivered to new client opportunities and to support their commercial skill building

Excellent communication skills in French and English . Good knowledge in sensory and/or consumer research Education and Experience: 3- 5 years of experience in a sales related field as consumer research, ideally including sensory or marketing research and new product development. Bachelor degree in a marketing, scientific, business or related field (or equivalent work experience) preferred. Advanced degrees preferred.
