About this role

We are seeking a high performing individual to join the Supply Chain Function to manage the Packaging & Grocery category, responsible for maintaining our packaging and grocery supply, as well as leading cross-functional teams to resolve supply related issues. You will lead a team who are focused on operational procurement . This role reports into the Associate Director of Supply Chain Operations. This is the perfect role for someone to elevate their career in supply chain, and has a passion for creating operational excellence.

What You Will Be Doing:

Deliver absolute availability across our packaging and grocery lines to ensure operational continuity and customer satisfaction

Review and manage internal and external storage capacities to balance cost with contingency planning

Optimize inbound and inventory processes across our warehouse network, identifying efficiency gains while minimising the impact to our end to end operation

Skillfully plan product transitions to manage the offboarding and onboarding of suppliers to minimise waste and customer impact.

Launch new practices, challenging legacy tools and forecast accuracy to enhance the automation and precision of demand planning. Define new measures and reporting methods to promote data-driven decision making

Build and own relationships with our suppliers to lever commercial benefit, partnering closely with the Strategic Procurement team to strengthen our supply portfolio. Report on and manage supplier performance effectively to continuously improve the operational standard

Lead cross-functional project teams (Production, Logistics, Strategic Procurement) to ensure packaging and grocery lines are fit for purpose

Your direct reports will take responsibility for purchasing, and day to day supplier management and continuous improvement to reduce cost, and protect us from shortages

Adapt to an ever-changing growth environment and embrace change at pace to achieve defined outcomes. Role model how to ruthlessly prioritise tasks and deal with uncertainty.

Establish best practice and influence global teams with your ideas and feedback to improve tools and processes across multiple markets.

Who You Are:

5+ years of experience in supply chain/operations/project management

FMCG/Operations background is a must, experience in packaging is preferred

You are incredibly resilient and operate well under pressure

You think on your feet and find quick and efficient solutions to resolve problems with minimal impact to internal and external stakeholders

You are a self-starter, with a proactive attitude, and you embrace change

You are a confident decision-maker and can challenge the status-quo with new ideas

You have great communication skills

You find the perfect balance between bigger picture thinking and digging for the detail

You are a role model that excites and motivates other team members with your passion for success
