About this role

Why work at Nebius

Nebius is leading a new era in cloud computing to serve the global AI economy. We create the tools and resources our customers need to solve real-world challenges and transform industries, without massive infrastructure costs or the need to build large in-house AI/ML teams. Our employees work at the cutting edge of AI cloud infrastructure alongside some of the most experienced and innovative leaders and engineers in the field.

Where we work

Headquartered in Amsterdam and listed on Nasdaq, Nebius has a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, North America, and Israel. The team of over 1400 employees includes more than 400 highly skilled engineers with deep expertise across hardware and software engineering, as well as an in-house AI R&D team.

Responsibilities

  • We are looking for a Technical Writer to join our IT Documentation team.
  • In this role, you will be embedded within our data center operations and infrastructure teams, working closely with engineers and technicians who build, operate, and scale high-performance computing environments.
  • Your mission is to translate complex, real-world technical work into clear, practical, and reliable documentation that teams can use in critical situations.
  • This role is based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
  • Your responsibilities will include:
  • Turn complex infrastructure and hardware processes into clear, simple, and actionable guides
  • Capture real-world technical knowledge and translate it into structured, easy-to-follow playbooks
  • Document processes across the full asset lifecycle — from installation and upgrades to decommissioning
  • Support data center operations by documenting hardware deployments, cluster bring-ups, and changes in infrastructure
  • Continuously improve documentation so it’s fast to navigate, easy to follow, and can be used under pressure (quick guides)
  • Review and clean up existing documentation — removing ambiguity, filling gaps, and making it consistent
  • We expect you to have:
  • Experience in technical writing (infrastructure, DevOps, hardware, or data center environment)
  • A strong ability to break down complex technical topics and explain them in a clear, simple, and practical way
  • Impeccable written and spoken English
  • Familiarity with docs-as-code workflows and version control (e.g., Git)
  • Understanding of infrastructure concepts (servers, networking, storage, or GPU/compute clusters)
  • A hands-on, pragmatic mindset — you care about documentation being useful in real situations, not just being “complete”
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, sometimes ambiguous environment where processes are still evolving
