About this role

About the role

Wrknest Engineering is now recruiting on behalf of a global product company in networking and connected hardware. They are now making a strategic investment in Stockholm and expanding their Go engineering capability within a business-critical domain.

You will join a product area focused on identity, permissions, and access management across a large-scale ecosystem of hardware, cloud services, web, and mobile applications. The team is building the next generation of systems that decide who gets access to what, when, and how across devices, networks, and administrative platforms.

The company combines the pace and ownership of a startup with the scale, resources, and global reach of an established international tech business. Their engineering culture is highly product-oriented, hands-on, and deeply focused on user experience, even in backend-heavy domains. They care about building systems that are elegant, intuitive, and genuinely useful in the real world.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to work close to real products, real users, and technical decisions that have immediate impact.

Your future responsibilities

You will be part of a specialized backend team building new services in Go, with a strong focus on cloud-connected identity systems and access control. The role includes both new development and architectural improvements in an evolving environment where priorities can shift quickly.

In this position, you will for example:

Design and develop backend services in Go

Build systems for identity, authorization, roles, and permissions

Help define what data should be persisted in AWS-based cloud services

Improve systems that manage access across devices, networks, and admin platforms

Work closely with product leadership and senior engineers on new technical direction

Contribute to architecture decisions with a pragmatic, product-first mindset

Collaborate cross-functionally with cloud, mobile, web, and embedded-adjacent teams
