We are looking for a Junior Analyst for the summer based in our Espoo office.

The employment period is from May to end of September based on availability.

We provide our customers with energy market expertise across the entire market value chain. We also help our customers find the best ways to procure and sell renewable energy. Our energy market services include, among others, portfolio management and market reporting services for the electricity, gas and emissions allowance markets, trading services, Guarantees of Origin, and 24/7 control room services.

At Gasum, our Power business plays a pivotal role in the sustenance and growth of our business. Our team consists of 12 Gasum Portfolio Services team experts and 13 Power team professionals, working together to deliver customer value across power, gas, and energy markets.

As a Junior Analyst, you will work as part of the Gasum Portfolio Services and Power Team, supporting the development of up-to-date forecasts, reports, and supporting product and system development. The role provides wide insight into all power market activities-from physical power operations to financial hedging and portfolio optimization-while also contributing to commercial and strategic decision-making through analytics and financial modelling.

Main responsibilities in the role are:Support the optimization of the physical power customer portfolio across all types of assets.

Support development of operational activities: forecasting tools, new products, systems, processes, and ways of working.

Assist in onboarding new customers and enabling growth in the Power business.
