We are seeking an experienced and innovative Chief Design Engineer, Algorithm & AI to lead our algorithm development and AI initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to solve the unique challenges of one of the most advanced work machines throughout the industries.
We are looking for a visionary and technically proficient Chief Design Engineer to oversee the development, optimization and implementation of our algorithms together with integrating AI solutions.
You will drive a team of talented engineers, collaborate with other teams across R&D organization and guide the strategic direction of integrating AI and machine learning technologies within the Ponsse R&D/Control Systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of robotics, control system design, foundation knowledge of AI/ML principles and life cycle, a proven track record of leadership in research and development and a passion for innovation.

- Lead the design and development of advanced algorithms to solve complex challenges that bring the most value to our customers.
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to a team of software and machine control engineers. The position includes a product owner role in scrum framework.
