About this role

Our Capital Markets team is looking for an Associate to join our firm in a permanent position.

Borenius is a leading Finnish law firm. We employ over 230 specialists and deliver premier expertise across all areas of business law. We also have offices in London and New York.

Our practice spans the full breadth of capital markets from IPOs, take-privates and secondary equity offerings on the equity side, to high yield and investment grade issuances on the debt side. Beyond transactions, our team advises clients on a broad range of regulatory matters applicable to issuers and listed companies, financial institutions and other capital markets participants.

What do you need to succeed?

We expect you to have relevant experience in the field of capital markets, financial regulation, corporate law or public M&A. Ideally, you have at least 2–3 years of post-graduate experience from a law firm or financial institution, but we do also welcome applications from recently graduated applicants. You are eager to learn new things and want to exceed the expectations of our corporate, investment banking and private equity clients.

As quality is always of the utmost importance in our work, you have demonstrated that you are capable of performing at a high level in your studies and/or working life. Because of the type of work we handle, fluency in written and spoken Finnish and English is required.
