Role Purpose Entain is seeking an experienced Marketing Category Manager to join its growing global business. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, commercially aware and comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and workstreams in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Engagement with local and international stakeholders to identify requirements and opportunities. Develop medium and long-term Marketing Procurement Strategies that help maximise the value of marketing investment and align with business and stakeholder objectives. Lead all agreed Marketing projects ensuring they are delivered on time and targets are achieved. Build a cutting-edge knowledge of the supply base and local regulatory environment, providing informed insights to the Marketing community Using stakeholder and supplier networks, identify continuous improvement and step-change opportunities for Marketing investment. Own and embody Entain’s values. Operate agile and effective commercial processes Understand critical areas for Innovation and build a pipeline of opportunities to be shared with the supplier community Identification of global synergies Supporting the implementation of the procurement strategy and policy.   This will specifically include: Creation of category strategies identifying all sources of commercial benefit short/mid and long term Lead on integration and execution benefit delivery opportunities (tracking savings) Provision of strong commercial management of in scope category spend Develop and conduct Rfx for market activity ensuring size and complexity are fit for purpose Become a “trusted partner” member of the Marketing community Maximise contract compliance and spend under management  

Exceptional commercial experience (including strategy creation, implementation and benefit delivery) Excellent verbal and communication skills and the ability to present and summarise a business case to an Executive audience.  Excellent skills evaluating or monitoring contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations. Commercial awareness and excellent negotiation skills. Excellent people and influencing skills across all levels of the organisation Highly organised Self-motivated and can-do attitude
