Your future team - Fixed Cameras Imaging

We are a product development team that develops the imaging system in Axis fixed cameras. The work takes place in small project teams where you have a key role and collaborate closely with many different disciplines such as firmware, mechanics, electronics and production technology.

Responsibilities

  • As imaging engineer, you will work cross-functionally with product development from idea to volume production and product maintenance. Your main responsibilities are all aspects of image quality of a network camera. This cover implementing and adapting software for the camera, developing production tuning and testing functionality as well as analyzing test data to optimize performance. One day you find yourself working closely with mechanical engineers to secure optimum conditions for high precision optics and the next day you discuss an embedded software module with the firmware engineers. Later that week you might be in a meeting with a sensor supplier to discuss some artifacts you saw while testing the camera in the image lab. The work involves an exciting combination of advanced theoretical and practical problem solving where you often find yourself in the center of action, having a direct and significant impact on the product development.

We believe you have a master's degree in physics, mathematics, computer science or electronics and have a genuine interest in technology, mathematics, programming and imaging.
