We are seeking a proactive, technically skilled, and business-oriented IT Specialist, Sales Solutions to join our IT Lead to Order team. In this role, you will work hands on with our custom CRM platform as well as Salesforce, ensuring that our solutions, integrations, and data flows deliver real value to sales teams worldwide.
As a key contributor in Valmet's digital sales landscape, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, architects, and IT specialists to support stable operations, enable new development, and improve the end-to-end sales process.
Your responsibilities
Ensure the functionality, reliability, and continuous improvement of Valmet's custom CRM and Salesforce-based sales solutions
Participate in design, development, and maintenance of integrations between the custom CRM, Salesforce, and external systems
Analyse business needs and translate them into system requirements, enhancements, or configuration changes
Contribute to solution design and documentation for sales processes, data structures, and technical changes
Support end users and key users in sales organizations globally
Stakeholder management, including IT, business units, and external vendors
Promote scalable solution architecture and innovation, including the use of AI technologies to unlock new business value
High level of accountability - you take ownership and lead with courage
To succeed in this position, we expect:
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
5+ years of hands-on experience working with CRM solutions (custom CRM and/or Salesforce)
Strong understanding of sales processes and related data models
Experience with system integrations (e.g., REST APIs, middleware platforms, data exchange patterns)
Practical experience with Salesforce (Sales Cloud or related co
