Our client is seeking a talented Design Engineer – Mechatronics to join a dynamic R&D environment focused on developing advanced power systems for next-generation handheld products. This role is centered on delivering high-quality engineering solutions while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and external partners.

The position involves working on both new product development initiatives and continuous improvements of existing solutions. The selected candidate will play a key role in designing and integrating electromechanical systems, including electric motors, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency across battery-powered and petrol-driven applications.

You will be actively involved throughout the product development lifecycle—from initial concept and feasibility analysis to detailed design and industrialization. This role demands a proactive mindset, strong technical curiosity, and the ability to make informed engineering decisions in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of electromechanical concepts and support feasibility assessments
  • Create and refine 3D and 2D designs of components using CATIA V5
  • Contribute to both new product initiatives and enhancements of existing designs
  • Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery
  • Handle engineering change requests and manage design modifications effectively
  • Collaborate with external suppliers, providing technical guidance and support
  • Participate in cross-functional team activities to align design and development goals
  • Support the integration of mechatronic systems into final products
  • Total Years of Experience:
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Mechatronics or Mechanical Design
  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Required Skills:
  • Strong expertise in Mechatronics and Mechanical Design
  • Hands-on experience with CATIA V5 for 3D/2D design
