Specialist, Global Mobility

We are looking for a Global Mobility Specialist to join our strong and collaborative team of mobility professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Global Mobility expert with a proven background in short-term assignment management and international tax processes.

In this role, you will manage end-to-end short-term assignment processes, drive development initiatives, and represent the Global Mobility function confidently across the organization. You will play a key role in how Valmet's cross-border assignments support our core project business.

In this position, you will:

Manage end-to-end global mobility processes for short-term international assignments, including assignment agreements, immigration, individual income tax compliance, and stakeholder communication.

Ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulations related to income tax, social security, and immigration.

Create clear and compliant global mobility instructions for project business and ensure assignments follow defined rules and regulations.

Work at the core of Valmet's project business, supporting cross-border operations and collaborating closely with the Group Tax team, Finance, People & Culture Operations and external providers, ensuring accurate and timely execution of assignment processes.

Serve as a Global Mobility business partner, collaborating with business units to forecast mobility needs and support implementation.

Monitor regional compliance changes, share insights, and drive continuous improvement in Global Mobility practices.

Utilize AI tools and data analytics to enhance reporting, identify trends, and optimize processes.

You will thrive in this role if you have:

Preferably 5 years of experience in Global Mobility or similar roles.
