The Head of Benefits leads the global strategy, design, governance, and delivery of Nebius’ employee benefits programs. You will ensure our benefits framework supports employee wellbeing, reinforces our high-performance culture, and remains competitive and scalable during rapid company growth.

Reporting to the Director of Total Rewards, you will serve as a strategic partner to HR leadership, Finance, Legal, and senior business stakeholders to ensure benefits programs are cost-effective, compliant, and aligned with our global people strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Benefits Strategy & Architecture
  • Design and evolve global benefits programs including health & wellbeing, retirement/pension, risk benefits (life, disability) and time-off policies. Ensure offerings are competitive, equitable, and aligned with company growth and workforce demographics.
  • Global Governance & Policy Frameworks
  • Establish global eligibility frameworks, harmonised policies, and governance standards while allowing for necessary local market variation. Ensure consistency and fairness across geographies.
  • Financial Oversight & Vendor Management
  • Own benefits budgeting, forecasting, and cost modeling. Lead relationships and negotiations with brokers, insurers, and third-party administrators to optimize value, service quality, and risk management.
  • Employee Experience & Communication
  • Build a clear benefits narrative and create communication materials (FAQs, guides, enrollment materials, manager toolkits) to ensure employees understand and value their total rewards package. Drive benefits education and engagement strategies.
  • Key/specific qualifications, knowledge & experiences
  • Significant experience leading global benefits strategy in high-growth, international environments (technology sector experience preferred).
  • Deep technical knowledge of health & welfare, retirement, risk benefits, and wellbeing program design across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Familiarity with major global brokers, benefits administration platforms, and HRIS systems.
  • Competencies & behavioural traits
  • Executive experience: High credibility when interacting with C-suite leaders and Board members.
  • Strategic Clarity: Ability to translate complex equity concepts into simple, persuasive narratives for diverse stakeholders.
  • Principled Judgment: Strong integrity and a governance-first mindset when handling sensitive executive data and exceptions.
  • Operational Discipline: Exceptional attention to detail in a role where minor errors have significant financial and legal consequences.
  • Navigating Ambiguity: Comfort building scalable frameworks in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
