Are you a leader passionate about innovation and empowering teams? We're seeking an Engineering Manager to lead Core Technologies Analytics Data at our HQ in Lund.

Your future team

Core Technologies within Axis R&D is an organization that drives, innovates, and provides key technologies to Axis future products and solutions. A fast-growing area is analytics where Core Technologies Analytics is responsible for bringing forward the latest AI algorithms, features and functionality towards a multitude of receivers from our own ASICs, camera products as well as Axis' analytics solutions in VMS or cloud.

This area continues to grow, and we are therefore looking for an Engineering Manager for the newly formed Core Technologies Analytics Data team. This team will work closely with the other three Core Technologies Analytics teams, but with main focus on the datasets and models that we use as foundation for our AI algorithm development. You will lead a team where everyone cares and is really dedicated to the tasks, with a range from newly graduated to senior engineers.

This team will:

Stay updated on AI training datasets, evaluate their suitability for Axis' needs, and systematically integrate them into our environment.

Develop synthetic datasets, e.g. via gaming engines, that complements sourced datasets and adds value to Axis' AI models.

Stay updated on AI models, evaluate their suitability for our needs, finetune them, and systematically integrate them into our environment. Also develop in-house AI models that adds value to Axis' use-cases and needs.

Evolve our datasets and models and further finetune them for Axis' use-cases and solutions.

Evolve our training pipeline, and in tight collaboration with Axis IT manage and evolve the GPU cluster used for AI model training.

In tight collaboration with Axis Legal and Axis Contract Management guarantee compliance with applicable laws, regulations, ethics and standards.
