This enabled detailed portfolio profitability analysis, leading to targeted pricing adjustments and the identification of improvement project. Work on longer-term initiatives such as the global roll-out of new Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)  – By working closely with laboratory managers to restructure cost and revenue accounting, they helped identify cost-saving opportunities using internal benchmarks and standardised project work breakdown structures.
