The role

As a Software Engineer at HelloFresh, you'll join a small cross-functional team focused on partner integrations, internal marketing services, no-code automations, and technical support for the marketing organization. Your main responsibility is to contribute to the technical architecture of the Marketing Automation team by planning and executing your own projects end to end.The ideal candidate will help discover, understand, and develop shared resources that help the team in the long term and uplift team productivity.

  • What you’ll do
  • Understand and suggest possibilities for technical architecture and contribute to decisions on tooling
  • Advise and support the team in technical definition of solution requirements
  • Contribute to establishing development standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to ensure successful implementation
  • Plan and execute projects end to end with ownership
  • What you’ll bring
  • 3+ years of full time experience in software engineering with JavaScript/React and Python, or strong experience in one of them
  • Experience building and working with APIs
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
  • Experience with testing and code quality practices
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • A passion for learning new technologies quickly
  • Solid communication skills to interact with various stakeholders
  • Working experience with AI or interest in integrating AI into workflows.
