Why we're hiring:
The WPP Open Solution Consultant plays a critical role in driving the successful implementation of the WPP Open platform. This individual will act as a trusted advisor, bridging the gap between the WPP Open platform's capabilities and tangible business outcomes. You will work closely with sales teams, product development, and agency stakeholders to understand their unique challenges and design solutions that leverage the WPP Open platform's strengths to deliver measurable value. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise in the WPP Open ecosystem and strong communication abilities.
Responsibilities
- Understanding Agency/Client Needs:
- Conduct in-depth sessions with agencies to understand their business objectives and goals and help they understand how the WPP Open can help them meet their objectives and achieve their goals.
- Analyze client users, usage, data and workflows to understand their current state and identify areas where WPP Open can provide significant improvements.
- Document requirements and translate them into actionable solution recommendations and specifications within the context of the WPP Open platform.
- Solution Design & Demonstration:
- Develop and present solutions that align with client needs and demonstrate the value proposition of WPP Open's specific modules and features (e.g., user access management, data management, workflow management, analytics).
- Tailor solutions to specific client industries and use cases, highlighting how WPP Open addresses their specific challenges.
- Quantify the business impact of solutions through ROI analysis and business case development, specifically related to the implementation and use of WPP Open.
- Create well defined written requirements which defines an SoW for changes and developments requested by agency and client teams.
- Technical Expertise:
- Possess a deep and comprehensive understanding of the WPP Open platform, its architecture, its capabilities, and its integration with other technologies within the marketing and advertising ecosystem (e.g., cloud platforms, data lakes, CRM, DAM systems).
- Stay up-to-date on the latest updates, features, and best practices related to the WPP Open platform, including agents and their use across the apps and platform.
- Provide technical guidance and support to sales teams and clients regarding the WPP Open platform.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with Growth teams to build solutions focusing on the value proposition of WPP Open.
- Collaborate with product development teams to provide feedback on product features and enhancements for WPP Open, based on client needs and market trends.
- Partner with implementation teams to ensure successful solution deployment of WPP Open, providing technical guidance and support.
- Relationship Building:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with agencies, sales teams and Open teams acting as a trusted advisor and technical expert on the WPP Open platform.
- Proactively identify opportunities to expand WPP Open usage within existing client accounts.
- Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Proficiency:
- Strong understanding of relevant technologies, including cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), data analytics, marketing automation platforms, and ad tech platforms.
- Demonstratable experience building and deploying Agents is essential.
- Experience with API integration and data modelling, specifically within the context of the WPP Open platform.
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively explain technical concepts related to WPP Open to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven experience in translating technical requirements into non-technical understanding, and vice versa.
- Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner, specifically related to the WPP Open platform.
- Strong presentation and demonstration skills, with the ability to showcase the WPP Open platform's capabilities effectively.
- Problem-Solving:
- Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions within the context of the WPP Open platform.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, specifically related to the WPP Open platform's data and functionality.
- Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions using the WPP Open platform.
- Desired Skills and Experiences:
- 3+ years of experience in a solutions consulting or Business Analyst role, specifically with marketing technology platforms.
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with the WPP Open platform would be an advantage.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering solutions to clients using marketing technology platforms, ideally including WPP Open.
- Experience with Skore or a similar process improvement tools
