Role purpose The Junior People Partner supports the People Partner team in delivering consistent, high‑quality people support across Practices. The role focuses on: delivery of core people processes preparation, coordination and follow‑up data, insight and governance supporting managers with day‑to‑day people activity This role builds capability towards a full People Partner position over time. Key responsibilities 1. Supporting People Partner delivery Act as a first point of contact for routine people queries from managers and employees. Support People Partners with preparation, coordination and follow‑up across agreed Practices. Draft people documentation including letters, summaries, timelines and trackers. Ensure actions from People Partner meetings and cycles are logged and progressed. Escalate risk, complex issues or emerging trends to the People Partner promptly. 2. Talent and performance cycle support Support quarterly conversations, objective setting and performance cycles. Track completion, chase non‑completion and maintain shared trackers. Prepare data packs for calibration sessions and People Partner meetings. Support CPD cycles, including: managing timelines and communications maintaining CPD trackers supporting clinics and preparation sessions Support promotion and salary review processes by ensuring data accuracy and process discipline. 3. Employee relations and policy support Support People Partners with employee relations cases by: preparing documentation tracking actions and timelines maintaining confidential records Provide clear guidance on policies and procedures for routine queries. Support absence, sickness and compliance reporting. Work closely with People Operations and ER colleagues to ensure consistency. 4. Engagement and culture activity Support Trust and Empowerment survey activity, including: tracking completion preparing reports supporting session logistics and follow‑up Help coordinate People Plan actions at Practice level. Support communication activity within Practices, ensuring people updates are timely and clear. Attend Practice meetings where appropriate to build understanding of priorities and challenges. 5. Data, insight and reporting Maintain accurate people data across agreed systems and trackers. Prepare regular reports on: attrition sickness engagement performance cycle completion Identify themes or trends and flag these to the People Partner. Support preparation of People updates for leadership forums. 6. Ways of working Work closely with People Partners, People Operations, Reward, L&D and Comms. Follow agreed People Partner cadence and governance. Contribute to continuous improvement of templates, trackers and processes. Build understanding of the business, Practices and operating model over time.

Skills and experience Essential Experience in a HR, People Advisor or People Operations role. Good understanding of core people processes and employment fundamentals. Strong organisation skills with attention to detail. Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information. Clear and practical communication style. Able to manage multiple deadlines and priorities. Desirable Experience supporting HR Business Partners or People Partners. Experience in a professional services or consulting environment. CIPD qualification or working towards one. Personal attributes Calm and dependable. Practical and solutions‑focused. Comfortable working to a structured cadence. Curious and keen to build commercial understanding. Values fairness, consistency and good employee experience.
