🧑🏻‍💻 About the role

First things first: you want to know what you’re actually applying for. It’s impossible to capture every nuance of a role – especially at a rapidly growing company like Mews – but if we had to distill it down to a job description (which we do because this is a job description), it would be this:

Senior Software Engineer – Connectivity

Our Connectivity tribe owns the public API used by 1,000+ partners to extend and enhance Mews’ functionality. This is one of the most critical surfaces of our product, powering integrations across the global hospitality ecosystem. We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join this team and help build reliable, high-scale integrations that power the hospitality ecosystem.

This is a full-stack role. We expect engineers to be comfortable working in both our backend (C# / .NET in Azure) and frontend (React + TypeScript), taking features from API design through to UI implementation.

About the team

You’ll join the Connectivity tribe — the group responsible for:

Owning and evolving our public APIs used by integration and distribution partners worldwide

Building and maintaining services that connect Mews to channel managers, PMS extensions and other third-party systems

Raising the bar on reliability, performance and observability across our integration stack

Collaborating closely with Product, Support and external partners to ship changes safely to production

This is a production-facing, high-impact area of the platform where stability, correctness and scalability genuinely matter.

What you’ll do

Design, implement and maintain backend services and public APIs used at scale

Build and contribute to frontend components and internal tooling (React + TypeScript) that support integration workflows

Work on integrations that move critical data — rates, reservations, inventory and financials — between Mews and partners

Improve performance, resilience and observability of existing services

Participate in technical discovery, solution design and architecture discussions

Write clean, well-tested and maintainable code with a strong focus on long-term quality

Ship iteratively — review code, pair with colleagues and continuously improve engineering practices

Take part in on-call / incident rotations to keep our connectivity surface stable and reliable

You won’t be siloed into “just backend” or “just frontend.” You’ll own problems end-to-end.
