Job Overview
The Cloud Solutions Architect is a key sales specialist role, supporting the broader sales organization with deep technical knowledge in a focus area. This means working with customers and prospects to educate them on how Rubrik protects and manages data. Additionally, the Solutions Architect will have an active role in providing real world feedback to product teams to enhance the product, testing new features before they are released, and helping educate the sales organisation on key components of their focus area technology. The Solutions Architect provides both immediate and long-term impact with their technical knowledge and position of influence with prospects and customers.
Responsibilities and Duties
This is a remote work position with approximately 50% travel for onsite meetings (as required).
Provide technical guidance in customer facing calls as required, both in person and remote.
Expert level knowledge in primary hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) including authentication, authorization, networking, security, services, workloads, etc.
Acts as a strategic advisor on Cloud Native architecture and DevOps; evangelist in automation using Infrastructure as Code and platform-native self-service capabilities.
Ability to conduct in depth sales discovery and alignment of technical capabilities to customer pain
Serve as a cloud subject matter expert, covering cloud-centric opportunities and enabling the sales team to effectively promote and sell cutting-edge cloud solutions.
Assist with technical implementation or validation of the product.
Work closely with sales teams from initial discovery through technical validation of the Rubrik solution.
Creating and giving presentations for technical enablement of the systems engineers
Work with product management and engineering to discover and address product gaps, providing real world knowledge on product use.
Attend internal meetings and events as required, both in person and remote.
