Senior Growth Engineer (f/m/x)

About this role

Responsibilities

• We are looking for a hands-on Senior Growth Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable API integrations that connect HelloFresh with external partner ecosystems including telecoms, financial providers, loyalty programs, and health/wellness platforms.
• This role combines technical execution (building and deploying APIs, data workflows, and automation) with project ownership (defining requirements, managing partners, ensuring delivery).
• You will own integrations from design to production, delivering end-to-end partner connectivity that enables subscription bundling, loyalty rewards, account linking, and nutrition data exchange, all while maintaining reliability, compliance, and a seamless customer experience.
• Architectural Leadership: Design integration architectures aligned with HelloFresh’s core systems (account, billing, and loyalty domains). Establish standardized patterns and templates for scalable partner onboarding.
• End-to-End Delivery: Lead the full lifecycle of new partner integrations—from initial scoping and technical solution design to implementation and go-live.
• Technical Execution: Develop and deploy robust RESTful APIs (Python/FastAPI or Node.js) and webhooks to enable bundled subscriptions and account linking.
• Partner Ownership: Act as the primary technical point of contact for external partner engineering teams. Translate complex partner requirements into concrete technical specifications.
• Strategy & Optimization: Implement logic for revenue share and loyalty attribution, ensuring integrations are reliable, secure, and compliant with global standards (GDPR/PII).

Requirements

• Technical Skills: * Expertise in RESTful API development (Python with FastAPI preferred, or Node.js).
• Deep understanding of OAuth2 / OpenID Connect, webhooks, and secure token exchange.
• Strong experience in API design, documentation (Swagger), and testing.
• Proficiency with AWS cloud environments (Container Registry, Cloud Storage) and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Preferred Experience: (One or more of the following)
• Background in B2B SaaS integrations, subscription commerce, or loyalty/fintech APIs.
• Experience managing integrations across multiple regions or complex billing systems.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong Ownership: Ability to independently drive technical projects from concept to production.
• Communication: Able to translate high-level technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and partners.
