As a Sales Manager, you will play a key role in expanding and scaling refurbed’s Sports category, with a strong focus on acquiring and launching new sellers while also growing selected existing partnerships.
You will act as a commercial driver for the category, combining new business development, seller onboarding, and portfolio growth. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys identifying opportunities, opening doors with new partners, and turning commercial potential into tangible results.
While the primary focus is on new seller acquisition, you will also manage and develop a defined portfolio of existing partners across Sports subcategories, ensuring long-term growth and performance.
WHO YOU ARE:
You hold a university degree and bring 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development, ideally within marketplaces, e-commerce, or retail
You communicate fluently in English; German is a plus
You have a strong commercial instinct and a track record of identifying opportunities, negotiating partnerships, and driving revenue growth
You are confident engaging with external stakeholders, able to influence decisions, and build trust-based relationships
You combine a hands-on mindset with structured thinking and enjoy working toward clear commercial goals
You are data-aware and comfortable using insights to prioritize actions and guide decisions
You are resilient, proactive, and motivated by building something new
You have an interest in Sports and are curious about developing a fast-growing category
