The Position

The

Record to Report (R2R)

Department is a global organization of over 650 experienced finance professionals working together to deliver financial services and solutions for Roche across the

EMEA region. Our services cover financial management, period-end closing, capital and lease accounting, credit and receivables, manufacturing finance, and divisional reporting, ensuring compliance for 263 reporting entities in 96 countries with accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and providing assurance of financial integrity.

The Opportunity:

As a

Senior Financial Cost Accountant

, you will support a manufacturing site by ensuring financial compliance, executing month-end close activities, and delivering inventory related activities. You will develop financial accounting models to improve performance measurement and ensure data quality and compliance. Additionally, you will collaborate globally on continuous improvement of processes, systems, and standards across the network.

Supporting

month-end close activities and delivering inventory analysis (for example: production order settlement, template allocation, actual activity rate calculation, variance posting, inventory allowance calculation and posting, material ledger closing)

Contributing

to the development of financial accounting models for performance measurement and insights

Ensuring

data quality, process governance, and compliance across manufacturing sites

Collaborating

globally to improve and align finance processes, systems, and standards

Participating

in continuous improvement squads for process, system, and policy enhancements

Assisting

Finance Business Partners with ad hoc analysis, initiatives, and projects

Supporting

internal and external audits when relevant and ensuring process alignment with stakeholders

Who you are:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related discipline is required

5+ years of experience

in finance within a corporate setting and working with cross-functional teams

Background in product costing, manufacturing finance, and cost accounting, preferably with experience supporting manufacturing operations is advantageous

Proven experience with SAP ERP systems, cost analysis, and cost controlling tasks.

Strong sense of accountability, prioritization, and the ability to deliver results while managing complex financial data and tasks.

Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust and foster productive relationships across organizations.

Fluency in English
