Responsibilities
- You’ll take end-to-end ownership of small to medium-sized features, from early technical design through to production and continuous improvement. Working closely with product managers, architects, and fellow engineers, you’ll help turn complex requirements into clear, well-structured solutions.
- You’ll be trusted to challenge assumptions, surface risks early, and make sound technical decisions — bringing calm, pragmatism, and clarity to complex engineering discussions.
- What you’ll work on
- Deliver meaningful features end-to-end — design, build, test, deploy, and evolve backend-focused services with a strong sense of ownership and quality.
- Build modern, scalable systems — develop primarily in Java, Kotlin, or Golang, collaborating with frontend engineers and contributing where needed to React/TypeScript applications.
- Shape architecture and technical direction — apply Domain-Driven Design, Test-Driven Development, microservice and event-driven patterns to solve complex problems and raise the bar across the team.
- Lead cloud-native development — design and operate services on AWS, using containers, orchestration platforms, and serverless patterns to build resilient, future-proof solutions.
