Job Description
The client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to support research and development initiatives. This role focuses on the design, development, and validation of mechanical components, with a primary emphasis on plastic parts manufactured through injection molding for a new IO system.
You will be part of a high-performing engineering team working toward clearly defined project goals. The assignment requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving capabilities, and effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and validate mechanical designs, primarily involving plastic components
- Optimize and refine designs related to injection-molded parts
- Coordinate and lead technical activities within project scope
- Conduct engineering analyses, simulations, and technical assessments
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement of engineering processes and design methodologies
- Provide technical guidance and expert input on complex engineering challenges
- Required Experience
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or related field
- Experience in a senior or leadership capacity is highly desirable
- Education Requirement
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- Alternatively, relevant technical education combined with 15+ years of industry experience
