What makes a YouTube video truly watchable - and how do you direct it on set? On It Films is looking for Content Directors (YouTube) to join their freelance pool and create content for Supercell's global player communities.
What will you be doing?
As a Content Director (YouTube) at On It Films, you'll direct community-driven video content for Supercell's global player base - turning ideas into content players actually want to watch.
You'll work closely with the games Community Managers (CMs), producers, and the studio crew, focusing especially on what happens on set. Your role is to translate scripts into compelling visual storytelling, guide talent, and shape the energy, pacing, and performance so the content lands with the audience.
In this role, you act as the CM's eyes on set - ensuring the content reflects the game, the community, and the intent behind each video. You'll bring clarity to execution and elevate moments through direction, without overcomplicating the production.
Projects are fast-paced and focused, often moving from planning to filming within a few days. Most productions are shot on green screen, where your ability to understand references and bring the right level of showmanship into performance becomes key.
What makes you a great fit?
You get YouTube - not just how it looks, but why people keep watching and how it connects with an audience. You're confident leading on set, but you don't overcomplicate things. You understand that in this environment, simplicity, clarity, and performance beat heavy production tricks.
You collaborate naturally with different people and bring positive, solution-oriented energy into every production. You're curious, adaptable, and comfortable working at pace. Most importantly: you leave ego at the door. This isn't a traditional commercial set - and that's exactly what makes it work.
