The Reward Lead is accountable for the provision of total reward advice, insight and guidance across the country enabling to deliver rewarding experiences that inspire growth. Reporting directly to the HR Director, the Reward Lead works collaboratively with colleagues across the business by providing advice and guidance to ensure that the development and execution of the country and/or functional area Total Reward Strategy reflects evolving business needs and always aligns to global total reward policies, practices, and governance requirements.
The Reward Lead has accountability for delivering all end-to-end reward activities (cyclical and project), including oversee of employee benefits management as well as being the technical lead on all reward change activities and ensuring all risks are proactively managed. Typically, accountable for managing all reward/benefits third party providers and working across all HR to deliver rewarding experiences that inspire growth across the business, and accountable for continually evolving the reward capability across all line managers and employees.
Typical Accountabilities
As part of local HR team, you will lead the day-to-day management of total reward policies, acting as an expert resource for One Poland Hub, ensuring all activities underpin the embedding of Performance Development.
You will deliver and maintain local total reward policies and programmes in accordance with global standards with the aim of attracting and retaining talent.
You will oversee end-to-end employee benefits management, including the cafeteria platform and vendor relationships, monitoring competitiveness, cost and employee experience, and implementing legal and regulatory changes. You will project future funding requirements and works with providers to maximum effectiveness of provision
You will interpret local Polish/European legislative changes, assess local impact and propose solutions in relation to compensation and benefits.
You will review compensation and benefit policies, ensuring adherence with local Polish regulatory, legal and best practice approaches and carry out local compliance reporting as required e.g. equal pay analysis.
You will support the execution of the annual compensation review (Rewarding Performance Development), providing coaching, mentoring and training to local line managers and HR colleagues, using training & education material provided by Global Reward team to increase reward knowledge across business leaders and the HR function.
You will support governance of all reward programmes, ensuring appropriate decision-making and governance for any proposed changes.
You will lead the education and communication of total reward activities at a country level, adapting global education and communication to local requirements.
You will ensure all annual cyclical activities are delivered according to global standards and local requirements (including but not limited to total reward benchmarking, delivery of RPD, review of well-being benefits provision and providers, monitoring the financial impact of provision and competitiveness to the market).
You will leads the local implementation of any new or improved global total reward policies, tools, processes or programs.
You will maintain an up-to-date understanding of external compensation and benefits environment, including changes in legal, regulatory and best practice approaches and contribute to global/local salary surveys.
You will engage in site‑wide strategic initiatives outside core reward, connecting reward insights to broader business goals.

Requirements
Educated to Degree Level
Significant experience in delivering compensation practices in a large, complex multinational company
Delivering to a high standard across multiple client areas simultaneously
Expert knowledge of compensation and benefits policies
Experience of setting up and managing contracts with third party suppliers
Deep knowledge and insights on the Polish labour market
Well-developed people skills and ability to engage, influence and negotiate effectively with diverse stakeholders and internal clients including HR Business Partners and business leaders
Well – developed skills to persuades senior stakeholders, builds coalitions, and drives adoption of proposals with clear data and narratives.
Understands business challenges and demonstrates solutions-focussed approach
HRIS systems experience
Excellent spoken and written English
Desirable Skills:
Post Graduate Qualification in Reward
Pharmaceutical sector experience
Experience of working with clients in R&D and/or Shared Services including, Finance, Procurement & HR
