Responsibilities

• We are looking for a Product Manager to own the Postgres Ecosystem and Analytics at Aiven. Your mission is to make building applications on Postgres not just reliable, but delightful - removing friction, accelerating time-to-value, and creating a developer journey that feels effortless from setup to scale.
• This is a high-impact role for someone who loves solving hard problems at the intersection of databases, developer platforms, and modern application building. You will define and own the roadmap, ensuring developer delight becomes a competitive advantage for Aiven's Postgres offering.
• What You'll Do:Make the complex simple: Translate advanced database features into intuitive, developer-friendly workflows and APIs.
• Own the roadmap: Define, prioritize, and drive the PostgreSQL developer experience roadmap end-to-end.
• Design golden paths: Create opinionated best practices (branching, migrations, schema management etc) that guide developers toward success quickly.
• Build integrations: Partner with IDEs, frameworks, and AI coding assistants to meet developers where they already work.
• Drive adoption: Ensure Postgres is the easiest choice for developers - the database that "just works" when building modern apps.
• Partner with sales & customer success: Support deals and enterprise adoption by aligning devex features with business needs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with engineering, design, and GTM to turn complex technical capabilities into elegant, usable experiences.
