About the Assignment You will join an automotive engineering environment focused on chassis performance and vehicle dynamics, with a key role in shaping how the vehicle feels and behaves on the road. The assignment combines technical depth with practical evaluation, where you work with everything from ride comfort and steering feel to roll behavior and overall road-going composure. You will collaborate closely with specialists in chassis, concept development, and system integration to define targets, evaluate results, and refine the balance between hardware and software. This is a strong opportunity for you if you enjoy hands-on vehicle development and want to influence both current tuning work and future chassis concepts. Job DescriptionYou support the definition of technical targets for chassis behavior, including steering feel, roll gradients, and the balance between primary and secondary ride comfort. You evaluate vehicle behavior through structured subjective assessment using the VSR scale. You calibrate and refine chassis-related hardware and software, such as damper tuning, bushing compliance, and EPAS, both in vehicle and in driving simulator. You drive system integration across tires, suspension geometry, and braking to achieve the intended vehicle dynamics. You work closely with the chassis concept team to align suspension performance and target setting for future platform concepts. You identify risks early and communicate potential conflicts that may affect vehicle dynamics or target fulfillment. RequirementsDegree in mechanical, mechatronics, or automotive engineering.
