Job Description

Responsible for the negotiation, structuring, and execution of service contracts with external customers, with a strong focus on compliance with REPSE regulations in Mexico.

Develops and executes contract negotiation strategies to ensure agreements are signed efficiently and in alignment with business objectives, legal requirements, and company policies. Partners closely with Sales, Customer Operations, Legal, and other cross-functional teams to structure proposals and contracts that balance commercial goals with legal and regulatory compliance.

Acts as a trusted advisor to the business on contract matters, managing complex and non-standard agreements, including renewals, and serving as an escalation point for critical contractual negotiations involving internal and external stakeholders.

Operates with a high degree of autonomy, managing multiple priorities independently while applying advanced legal and commercial judgment to solve complex contracting challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead negotiation of service contracts with external customers across varying complexity levels
  • Develop and execute contract negotiation strategies aligned with REPSE requirements and company policies
  • Draft, structure, and negotiate complex and non-standard agreements
  • Manage contract renewals and end-to-end contracting process
  • Collaborate with Sales, Legal, and Operations to align contract terms with business needs
  • Act as a trusted advisor on contract law, risk, and compliance matters
  • Serve as escalation point for high-impact contractual negotiations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LL.B. / Licenciatura en Derecho or equivalent)
  • Active license to practice law in Mexico (CĂ©dula Profesional) or equivalent authorization in relevant jurisdiction
  • Strong experience in complex contract negotiation and regulatory compliance (REPSE experience is a plus)
  • Advanced stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Fluency in English is required
