Our client Infosys is seeking an experienced Technology Lead - Production Operations & Application Support to work with enterprise applications within the telecom industry. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical expert with strong backend development skills, production support experience, and the ability to operate in mission-critical 24/7 environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise-grade telecom applications.
  • Work hands-on with Python and Java technologies including Spring Batch, JSP, Hibernate.
  • Support and develop frontend components using HTML, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Build and maintain automation, integrations, and scripts using Groovy and XML.
  • Manage and optimize databases including MariaDB 10.3 and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Operate and troubleshoot systems running on Ubuntu 20.x and other Linux-based environments.
  • Provide L2/L3 support, ensuring timely resolution of complex technical issues in high-availability telecom systems.
  • Participate in and support 24x7 operations, including handling critical incidents and ensuring service continuity.
  • Work within ITIL processes and use ITSM tools such as ServiceNow (or equivalent) for incident, problem, and change management.
  • Utilize monitoring and observability tools (APM, logs, alerts) to ensure system reliability and proactive issue detection.
