Are you an event construction professional ready to build this summer’s events?
We are currently looking for several experienced event builders for a variety of construction and load-in/load-out tasks in the Helsinki metropolitan area and Stockholm between May and June.
In this role, you will take part in building event setups from start to finish as part of a team. The work may include assembling stage and tent structures, building backstage areas, installing fencing and furniture and other event construction tasks as needed. The role requires the ability to work independently, a proactive and professional attitude and readiness to work without continuous supervision. The work is physical and often takes place outdoors in varying weather conditions. Working days can be long, and schedules are determined by the progress of each project.
We expect from you:
Previous experience in event construction
Willingness to perform physically demanding work and work long days
Flexibility regarding working hours
Fluent English skills
A category B driving licence
We consider it an advantage if you have:
Experience in supervisory or team lead roles
A category C driving licence and/or CE licence
Your own safety shoes, suitable workwear, and tools (e.g. drill, utility knife, etc.)
Project schedules and compensation:
The work is project-based, and each project is paid as a fixed project fee, as listed below. Please clearly indicate in your application which projects you are available for. We are primarily looking for candidates who can commit to multiple or all projects.
Helsinki metropolitan area:
13-14 May: Event build / approx. 10-12 h/day
16 May: Event dismantling / approx. 8-9 h in the evening
Project compensation: €530 via tax card (incl. 9% holiday pay) or €715 + possible VAT as an independent contractor.
