About the role

As a Data Engineer at ICA Bank, you will:

Build and maintain production-ready data pipelines on GCP

Work extensively with BigQuery

Develop transformations and data models using dbt

Manage infrastructure and configurations using Terraform

Work with GitHub-based version control and CI/CD workflows

Take responsibility from source data to consumable datasets

In this role you will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to contribute to a simple, well-structured, and maintainable data platform. You will work end-to-end with scalable data pipelines, contribute to Data Mesh–oriented architectures, and help ensure governance, security, and compliance are embedded by design.

This is a permanent position based in Solna, with a hybrid setup and majority of time in the office.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for a data engineer with at least 3 years of experience who wants to grow further in a stable, product-oriented environment.

To thrive in this role, you will need to have experience with:

Building and maintaining data solutions in production environments

BigQuery and analytical SQL

dbt for transformations and data modeling

Terraform or similar Infrastructure-as-Code tools

GitHub and CI/CD workflows

Python and SQL for data engineering tasks

But you will really shine if you also have experience of other GCP services beyond BigQuery, Data Mesh or data product–oriented ways of working. If you have been working in banking, finance, or other regulated industries, this is also a merit, as well as your potential experience of AI-assisted development tools or modern engineering workflows.
