Electrical Engineer plays a crucial role in maintaining the electrical infrastructure and systems of a hyperscale data center. The role involves ensuring continuous and efficient operation of all electrical systems, supporting both routine maintenance and emergency repairs.

Electrical System Management

Assist in the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems, including power distribution units, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), generators, and switchgear.

Ensure all electrical infrastructure operates efficiently, with minimal downtime, and adheres to established performance standards.

Support the implementation and maintenance of electrical safety policies and best practices.

Maintenance and Upgrades

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring all electrical equipment and systems are serviced according to company and manufacturer standards.

Assist in coordinating with vendors and contractors during electrical maintenance and upgrade projects, ensuring minimal disruption to data center operations.

Monitor system performance and recommend improvements or upgrades as necessary.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting

Provide hands-on technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal impact on data center operations.

Collaborate with other engineering and operations teams to ensure integrated and efficient system performance.

Maintain up-to-date documentation and records to support operational continuity and compliance requirements.

Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
