Fundraiser

Some jobs you do to pay the bills. This one you can actually talk about at a dinner party without people's eyes glazing over.

You'll be out in the field, knocking on doors and meeting people face to face, representing causes that genuinely matter. Think major international charities, the kind of organisations people have heard of and care about. Your job is to have real conversations, tell the story behind the cause, and sign up long-term supporters.

It sounds simple, and in a way it is. But it takes a certain kind of person to do it well — someone who genuinely enjoys meeting strangers, can read a room quickly, and doesn't crumble when the first three doors don't open. If that's you, the earning potential is real and the work is actually meaningful.

The working language is English — the organisation operates internationally, so you don't need Finnish. The team around you will be international too, which makes for a pretty good atmosphere on the road.

Earnings

Realistic monthly earnings land between 2 000–4 000 € depending on your results. You can come on board either as an employee or as a light entrepreneur — whichever works better for your situation. Early on, you won't be thrown in at the deep end and there's proper support to make sure the money starts coming in.

What you need

Fluent English (Swedish is considered a major plus!) and a genuine ability to connect with people. Fundraising experience is a bonus but really not a requirement — what matters far more is energy, authenticity and the willingness to actually do the work. If you've done door-to-door, field sales or any kind of face-to-face role before, you'll feel at home quickly. For this position you’ll need to be over 18 and be able to use your own vehicle, so also a driving license is a must!
