About the role

Our Platform Engineering (DevOps & SRE) team owns the cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline ecosystem that the entire engineering organisation relies on. As engineering practices evolve, the team continuously looks for ways to improve efficiency and delivery speed - including making thoughtful use of modern tools, such as AI-assisted workflows, to support clearer planning and faster execution within the team.

We're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Platform Engineering team. You'll bring clarity, structure, and predictable execution, while guiding a talented team of DevOps and SRE professionals. You'll partner closely with product engineering teams, and you'll embrace modern AI-enabled tooling and practices to accelerate development and raise engineering effectiveness.

This role also offers room for expanded scope as Scandit grows, including opportunities to take on additional engineering initiatives or teams over time.

Own the operation and continuous improvement of our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.

Actively drive cross-team initiatives in areas such as security and compliance (e.g. reducing Snyk vulnerabilities, supporting ISO-related efforts).

Strengthen security, reliability, and cost efficiency through disciplined processes, clear ownership, and consistent follow-through.
