Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Stena Recycling Oy

As our current CFO transitions to a new role within our organization, we are now looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our Management Team and take full responsibility for the finance function of Stena Recycling Oy in Finland. Stena Recycling Oy employs approximately 290 professionals across Finland, with a turnover of around EUR 200 million.

As CFO, you will lead a finance organization of 17 professionals, supported by team leads for accounting and business controlling & IT. You will act as a strategic partner to the CEO and the Management Team, while maintaining a strongly hands-on approach in day-to-day financial leadership.

You are responsible for financial performance, reporting, compliance, and the continuous development of finance processes. In this role, you ensure strong support for business decision-making, profitability, and strategy execution. You bring a holistic understanding of both internal and external accounting and are motivated by impact, ownership, and the opportunity to shape finance in an environment where development and hands-on leadership go hand in hand.

You will report directly to the CEO and play a key role in driving performance and transparency across the organization. The position is based in Pasila, Helsinki, and requires an active on-site presence.

What we expect from you

We are looking for a senior finance leader with a proven track record in full-scope finance leadership.

To succeed, you have:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in CFO or equivalent senior finance roles with full P&L responsibility.

Proven expertise across internal and external accounting, financial reporting, and performance management.

Experience in industrial, production, or other asset-intensive environments.

Excellent leadership skills and experience in leading finance team.
