About this role
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Finnish primary and secondary school principals and vice principals to participate in international education cooperation projects in China. Selected candidates will travel to China to deliver education leadership training for Chinese school leaders, sharing Finnish best practices in school leadership, management, and system development.
Responsibilities
- Deliver on-site education leadership training for Chinese primary and secondary school principals and school leadership teams
- Design and facilitate interactive lectures, workshops, and case-based discussions focusing on Finnish education leadership practices
- Share insights into Finnish approaches to school leadership, including vision building, trust-based leadership, teacher autonomy, and school development
- Present and explain the values, structures, and leadership culture of the Finnish education system to an international audience
- Engage in professional dialogue with Chinese school leaders and respond to leadership and management-related questions
- Adapt training content to different school contexts and cultural environments
- Qualification Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a principal or vice principal in a Finnish primary or secondary school
- Strong understanding of Finnish school leadership, educational administration, and leadership development
- Ability to communicate fluently in English and confidently deliver training to international education professionals
- Experience in leadership training, educational consulting, or international cooperation is considered an advantage
- Open-minded, culturally sensitive, and comfortable working in an international environment
- Availability to travel to China for 2–3 weeks per assignment
