Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for local outbound operations. Each day, you will supervise and support performance of forwarding companies. You will also showcase your skills by ensuring smooth execution of operational trade and export control regulation activities within a local unit, including relevant documentation and compliance with regulations.

The work model for the role is: hybrid #LI-Hybrid

This role is contributing to the ABB Oy, Drive Products division, Box Build Operations in Helsinki

You will be mainly accountable for

Planning, coordinating and optimizing outbound transportation operations to ensure timely pick-ups, deliveries, and dispatching

Owning day-to-day transportation execution and service performance, including monitoring KPI's, analyzing transportation tracking data, investigating service deviations, and driving corrective actions

Driving cost-efficiency and risk management by identifying opportunities to reduce operational costs, developing contingency plans and ensuring claim handling when required

Executing export control compliance by carrying out operational screening activities in accordance with defined procedures

Ensuring accuracy and completeness of transportation related documentation in cooperation with relevant stakeholders

Qualifications for the role

You are fluent in English, both written and spoken

Proactive approach towards feedback and continuous development is essential
