Responsibilities

  • We’re hiring a Creative Lead to own the ideas and messaging behind Remote’s performance marketing.
  • This is not a “make ads” role. It’s a come up with the ideas that make ads work role.
  • You’ll sit at the intersection of brand and growth, turning product truth into sharp, high-performing creative across paid channels. You’ll define how Remote shows up in performance marketing, and raise the bar for what B2B ads can be.

  • What You’ll Do
  • Own messaging for performance marketing
  • Develop clear, differentiated messaging frameworks for paid campaigns
  • Translate complex global employment products into simple, compelling hooks
  • Continuously refine positioning based on performance data and audience insight
  • Come up with ideas that perform
  • Concept high-impact campaign ideas for paid channels (social, search, display, video)
  • Create scalable creative concepts — not one-off ads
  • Build testing roadmaps grounded in strong hypotheses, not guesswork
  • Bridge brand and performance
  • Ensure performance creative strengthens Remote’s brand, not dilutes it
  • Balance clarity and conversion with distinctiveness and memorability
  • Partner with brand and content teams to maintain a consistent voice across all channels
  • Lead creative production across channels
  • Work with designers, writers, and external partners to bring ideas to life
  • Provide clear creative direction and feedback to ensure quality and consistency
  • Oversee multiple campaigns and iterations at speed
  • Build a high-performing creative engine
  • Establish repeatable systems for ideation, testing, and iteration
  • Use data to inform decisions without losing creative instinct
  • Scale what works while continuously exploring new directions
  • Leverage AI to move faster and go bigger
  • Integrate AI tools into the creative process to increase speed and output
  • Maintain a high bar for quality, taste, and originality
  • Collaborate across Remote
  • Partner with growth, product marketing, brand, and analytics teams
  • Align on priorities, audiences, and performance goals
  • Influence stakeholders with strong creative conviction and clear rationale
  • What You Bring
  • 7–10+ years of experience in creative, brand, or performance marketing roles
  • Proven ability to develop high-performing ad creative and campaign ideas
  • Strong copy and messaging instincts — you know how to write hooks that convert
  • Deep understanding of paid channels and how creative drives performance
  • Ability to think in systems: testing, iteration, and scaling what works
  • Strong creative judgment — you know what stands out and what gets ignored
  • Experience collaborating with designers and creative teams to execute ideas
  • Comfort using data to inform creative decisions without becoming purely reactive
  • A clear perspective on how AI is changing creative production
