About the Assignment You will join a digital product area focused on learning technology and data in a large global retail environment. The mission is to simplify digital complexity and build solutions that support learning across a broad franchise ecosystem. These solutions reach more than 100,000 coworkers every year, which means your work will have visible impact at scale. In this role, you will work close to the business context around concept, brand, and learning. You will help shape engineering direction in a product area where data, integrations, and cloud capabilities are central. Job DescriptionYou will drive engineering and solution architecture within the learning technology and data area, while helping align technical direction across teams in the domain. You will build and improve solutions with focus on modularization, scalability, integration, resiliency, performance, and reusability. You will contribute to high-quality software development using modern engineering practices and a strong product mindset. You will work with technologies such as Node.js, Python, Databricks, Sparql, and APIs to create reliable and maintainable solutions. You will strengthen Git-based ways of working and contribute to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and monitoring. You will evaluate current engineering practices, identify improvement opportunities, and help move the product area forward. You will act as an advocate for sound engineering principles, including DevOps automation, API design, and decoupled, reusable solutions.
