Sourcing Manager, Direct Procurement

Responsibilities

• We are looking for a Sourcing Manager to join our Direct Procurement Fermion Chemicals category. You will have a unique opportunity to work in an interesting sourcing category and ensure that the supplier portfolio, product offering and capabilities meet future requirements while contributing to Orion's strategy and business targets.
• In this role, your location can be Espoo or Turku. The working model is hybrid. The position is permanent and full-time.
• Your responsibilities
• In your specified area of responsibility, you will manage the selected supplier base and projects within the Fermion chemicals category. As a sourcing manager, you drive RFQ and supplier selection process and negotiate pricing, business models and sourcing agreements. You manage supplier and risk management activities in your area, and you may have also some outsourcing support responsibilities.
• Driving improvements and actively managing the product and material lifecycle together with other key stakeholders and experts to ensure the most optimal set-up for business needs is an essential part of your job. You are capable of working across organizational boundaries with experts from various fields and functions to ensure the best expertise is utilized to achieve desired outcome. You have an eye for the detail, while also understanding the big picture. You are able to challenge the status quo when needed. You can lead projects and initiatives and proactively and independently plan future actions.
