About this role

Your impact:

You will be the strategic bridge who translates business needs into reliable IT solutions. Together with a skilled team of 3 IT Engineers, you will plan and set the future tracks of our IT infrastructure and collaborate with our DevOps team to ensure a secure, reliable, and scalable IT environment.

In this role, you will support the people behind Channable; your mission is to maintain our internal workspace and assist our employees; it does not involve supporting our clients.

Your job:

You’re fluent in the English language as well as "business" to "tech" and can translate vice versa

You have at least 5+ years of experience within the area of IT and at least 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role

You have deep knowledge of Windows and MacOS environments, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues

Solid coordination, communication, and crisis management skills

Good understanding of common Security & Compliance practices

Your challenges:

Planning and reviewing of OKRs

Mentor and coach team members, providing performance feedback and identifying opportunities for professional development and skill building.

Plan, delegate and prioritize our general IT workload

Liaise issues with large(r) impact with team members, departments and stakeholders

Keep a good overview of our automations and make sure information is well documented

Support & plan the rollout of new tools, devices, and processes, ensuring smooth adoption by our end-users

Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers, ensuring contracts meet organizational needs and cost objectives

Other requirements/some practical things we expect from you:

You’re available for at least 32 hours per week;

You are willing to come to our Utrecht office for two days/week;

You have a valid work permit for the Netherlands or EU citizenship;

You live in (or close to) Utrecht, or are willing to move // You live in the Netherlands.
