The Position

Compliance is a core foundation of how we operate

, supported by strong governance, data privacy and safety practices.

This role focuses on

compliance activities

, while also supporting

data privacy, SHE (Safety, Health & Environment), and information security (ISMS)

. Working closely with the

Chapter Lead for Quality, Compliance, SHE, Data Privacy and Risk & Opportunities (R&O)

, you will help ensure that key compliance and governance activities run effectively across Finland and selected affiliates in the sub-region (e.g. Norway), in alignment with Roche policies and external requirements.

The Opportunity

This role ensures continuity of

compliance and governance activities

, while supporting related areas such as data privacy, SHE, and information security.

Compliance (Primary focus)

Support execution of the

local Roche Compliance Program

and related initiatives.

Coordinate

local compliance activities

and support alignment across the sub-region where applicable.

Identify, assess and support mitigation of

compliance risks

.

Ensure alignment with

local laws, regulation  and industry codes

.

Support

monitoring, controls  and audit readiness

.

Manage and track

business ethics incidents

, including escalation and

BEIR reporting

.

Handle

local compliance concerns and inquiries

from the business.

Act as a

trusted advisor

, providing pragmatic compliance guidance.

Promote

compliance awareness

and a strong

SpeakUp culture

.

Maintain documentation in line with

compliance and governance requirements

.

Collaborate with stakeholders across

Finland and the sub-region

to support effective implementation and continuous improvement.

Data Privacy, SHE & ISMS (Supporting scope)

Support

data privacy (GDPR)

activities, including:

Data subject requests (DSRs)

Privacy incident management and reporting

Maintenance of

data privacy registers (DPR)

Support alignment with

data protection requirements

across the organization.

Contribute to the implementation and improvement of the

Information Security Management System (ISMS)

.

Support

interaction with authorities or internal experts

where required.

Support

SHE-related compliance activities

and awareness initiatives.

Assist with

training and awareness

across compliance, data privacy, and safety topics.

Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment with

regulatory and security requirements

.

Who You Are

You are a

proactive and reliable compliance professional

who can quickly integrate into an existing organization and operate independently during a transition period.

Degree in

Law, Life Sciences, Business Administration

or similar

, with relevant experience in

Compliance, Data Privacy

Strong understanding of

compliance frameworks, business ethics and regulatory requirements

in a regulated industry (e.g., healthcare, MedTech, pharma) with experience supporting

audits, inspections or governance processes

.

Practical experience with

GDPR and data protection frameworks

is necessary.

Familiarity with

ISMS / information security concepts

and

exposure to

SHE or operational compliance topics

is an advantage.

Highly organized, communicative and skilled in stakeholder management, with the capability to work independently while collaborating effectively across geographies..

Fluency in English is required; Finnish and/or other Nordic languages are strongly preferred.
