About the role
In this position, you will be at the heart of ensuring the reliability and safety of advanced technology used to connect renewable energy to power grids worldwide. You won't just be testing-you'll be a vital part of the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, helping to solve hardware issues alongside design and manufacturing teams to ensure stable electricity transmission and energy savings.
Work tasks
Performing hardware testing according to defined plans, using specialized test equipment and software to verify functionality, durability, and safety.
Verifying the operation of measurement circuits, including CT and VT circuits, and confirming correct polarity.
Executing interface testing, interlocking scheme verification, and SCADA communication checks.
Creating signals from the source and confirming correct operation on HMI and protection systems.
Reading and interpreting circuit diagrams and layout drawings, documenting anomalies, and suggesting improvements to the design team.
We are looking for
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Previous experience in hardware testing (this can be through internships, projects, or previous work experience).
Familiarity with following and supporting structured test plans and procedures.
The ability to read and understand technical documentation such as circuit diagrams, layout drawings, and cable lists.
Language skills: Fluency in written and spoken English is required. Finnish or other language skills are considered a definite plus.
