Your Impact
Develop
strategic technical roadmaps to help partners build and scale managed service offerings based on Cisco’s Enterprise Networking, Security, and Collaboration portfolios.
Influence
partner technical strategies by providing consultative guidance on multi-tenancy, OSS/BSS integration, and emerging technology trends.
Enable
partner sales and technical teams through ongoing education on Cisco’s latest products, licensing models, and architectural benefits.
Drive
technical excellence by leading demonstrations, presentations and sophisticated bid responses that position Cisco as the preferred solution.
Foster
deep relationships with internal Cisco business units and external team members to ensure understanding or partner requirements and market trends.

The Channel Solutions Engineer is a high profile role in building strategic business and technical relationships and involves the following elements:
Strategy & Enablement:
Define partner technical offerings, conduct regular business reviews, and lead enablement sessions to keep partner sales, presales, marketing and operations teams updated on product roadmaps and latest features that may make their offering more driven in an always evolving landscape.
Technical Consultation:
Assist with pre-sales activities, including proposal development and architectural design, while acting as an onsite domain expert.
Operational Excellence:
Guide partners through post-sales standard methodologies, including Cisco TAC operations, to ensure high-quality service delivery for end customers.
Market Intelligence:
Stay ahead of on industry trends and competitor offerings, providing actionable feedback to Cisco business units to shape future product requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
You will ideally bring 5+ years pre-sales engineering or technical customer facing experience supporting Cisco enterprise, public sector or commercial customers. Experience dealing with Partners is highly recommended.
You will ideally have BS or MS degree in computer science, computer engineering or related discipline..
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Write and speak English and Spanish fluently. French speaking would be highly appreciated.
