Responsibilities
- Accounting and Financial Administration
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities.
- Support account payables activities.
- Execute and monitor payments and bank transactions.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and maintain supporting documentation.
- Ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with company policies.
- Closing and Reporting
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements and annual reports.
- Ensure financial records are complete, accurate, and audit-ready.

To continue to support our Finnish business we are looking for an accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership, working closely with the business, and being part of a purpose-driven company operating at the forefront of the renewable energy sector. This position is based in Helsinki. While Helsinki will be your primary office location, we also have offices in Vaasa, Oulu, and Tampere. About the role As an Accountant, you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting and financial administration of Finnish legal entities. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with statutory requirements. The role means working closely with colleagues across Finance in general and support the local Finnish organization in accounting related matters. You will help maintain strong financial processes that support OX2's continued growth in Finland and across Europe. Your report to the Finance Manager Nordics.
