As our Finnish business continues to grow, we are looking for a Financial Controller who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys combining hands-on accounting with business support and financial governance.
Responsibilities
- Accounting, reporting and compliance
- Take full accounting responsibility for assigned Finnish legal entities.
- Perform bookkeeping and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
- Ensure timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Prepare annual financial statements, statutory reports, and declarations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, policies, and internal controls.
- Maintain proper audit trails, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for financial transactions.
- Manage VAT registrations, VAT reporting, and tax-related filings.
- Support accounts payable activities.
- Execute and monitor payments and banking transactions.

This position is based in Helsinki. While Helsinki will be your primary office location, we also have offices in Vaasa, Oulu, and Tampere. About the role As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the accounting and financial reporting of a portfolio of Finnish legal entities. You will work closely with colleagues across Finance, Development, Construction, Asset Management, and Investment teams, ensuring high-quality financial information, strong compliance, and efficient processes. You will report directly to the Finance Manager Nordics. You will be part of a collaborative finance team where accuracy, continuous improvement, and business partnership are highly valued.
